From Miami to Tampa for the Superbowl, then to New Orleans and on to Tampico, Veracruz, Progreso and Cozumel in Mexico, we sailed to Belize, Honduras, Guatemala and Costa Rica before heading through the Panama Canal to Ecuador and Peru, from where I head home to Cape Town.

After a great time in Venezuela, we headed for Grenada, SVG and Barbados.
From there we sailed north to Gaudalope and St. Martin and the BVI-island hopping.
Returning to Barbados we headed to St. Lucia and Dominica.
Had a great Christmas and New Year.

Joined The World in Miami, Florida on the 20th Nov. We sailed via Haiti and Ocho Rios, Jamaica to Cartagena, Colombia and from there to the ABC islands- Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao.
After stopping at Coro, Venezuela and Los Roques, we are currently in Puerto Cabella, Venezuela.
Great weather and beautiful scenery along the way.

After spending a few days in Cape Town, left for Interlaken, Switzerland for the month of september playing at the Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel and Spa.
While there ran the Jungfrau Marathon but unfortunately bailed at 16km with piriformis trouble.
Back in CT for Oct. and leave for Miami and The World in Nov.

Its been a great trip up the Turkish coast, stopping at Alanya, Fethiye,
Bodrum, Kusadasi and some Greek islands like Rhodes and Lesvos. Istanbul was great and then into the Black Sea to Trabzon, Turkey, Sochi, Russia, and on to the Ukraine, stopping at Sevastopol, Yalta and Odessa. Then on to Bulgaria, and back to Istanbul before going on to Greece- Skiathos, Athens, Santorini and Corfu. Then Kotor, Montenegro, Dubrovnik and Trogir in Croatia. We leave tomorrow for Venice, Italy, from where I fly home to Cape Town.

After sailing up the Red Sea to Hurghada, Egypt, we went on to Al Aqabah, Jordan. I had a great run along the coast towards the Saudi border- 20 kms- 29 degrees C. Sailing back towards Egypt we transitted the Suez Canal and spent two days in Port Said. After another day at sea we arrived Akdeniz, Turkey. I had a great run through quiet country roads and pine forests- 20 kms.

After a great vacation in Capetown, I travelled to Male, Maldives to rejoin The World. We spent a great week around the Maldives, enjoying great weather and spectacular islands, before setting sail for Salalah, Oman. I had a great desert jog there, if a little toasty at 40 degrees. We are now in the Red Sea, on our way to Egypt.

After heading down the west coast of Africa from Senegal to Tema, Ghana, Sao Tome and Namibia, we arrived 29 Jan in Cape Town, South Africa. After a stay of 6 days, we sailed up the coast to Port Elizabeth, East London and Durban. Our final port in South Africa is Richards Bay, from which we sail tomorrow for Mauritius.

Happy New Year! After a great trip through the Med from Tunis to Sicily, Athens, Crete, Cyprus, Malta, we sailed to Naples, Italy then on to Rome, Genoa and Nice, France and on to Barcelona, Spain ending 2007 at Madeira on our way here to Dakar.

Great time playing at the Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel. Rejoined "The World" in Lisbon, Portugal after a week in London and Portimao. Left Lisbon en route to Ceuta, Spain- great run up to the castle- and on to Tunis, Tunisia.

Leaving Croatia, we sailed round the boot of Italy through the straits of Messina to Civitavecchia, and then on to Sardinia.
I flew home to Capetown, South Africa.

Leaving Piran, we arrived Hvar, Croatia. A great island on the Dalmation coast. Had a great run out of the small town to Vira on the other side of the island. Very hilly about 8kms out and back, beautiful scenery.

Leaving Venice arrived Piran, Slovenia. Nice jog out of the small port town along the coast to Portoroz and Lucia, about 10kms out and back. Sharp up-and-over hill just out of town which you get to do on the way back as well. Nice resorty coast, great weather.

Sailing round the boot of Italy arrived Dubrovnik, Croatia. Great 12km run along the coast road southwards, which, once out of town becomes traffic-free and continues for sometime about 50m above the sea along the cliffs. Great weather, great scenery.
Arrived Venice 6th June- nice run along the causeway or bridge to the mainland direction airport. About 6ms to the end of the bridge from the port 12kms total in light rain.

Leaving Sorrento, arrived Stromboli, Italy. Had a great run-once out of the village the road becomes unpaved trail and heads up the active volcano to about 250metres and takes a circular route back down to the port. About 14kms- great views, scenery and weather.

Arrived at Sorrento across the bay from Naples. Went for a jog 10kms west along the coast road, which is not really suitable for jogging. Great scenery, nice weather, but trying to avoid becoming roadkill is a challenge.

After a stop in Portovenere we arrived sunday 27th May in Civitavecchia, port closest to Rome. On 28th had a reasonable jog-12kms- from the port south along the coast. No great scenery, weather windy about 17degsC at 0930. Sailed at 1800 with high winds and heavy swells arrived 29th in Naples.

Arrived Portofino, Italy 23rd May after a short sail from St. Tropez. Great little tourist town, almost could be its own theme-park. A great jog along the coastal road to Santa Margherita about 5kms away. Beautiful scenery, great weather about 25degsC at 1100.

Left Barcelona, Spain on Sunday 20 May, arrived St. Tropez Monday 21 May.Today (wednesday) had a great jog along the coast from the port along the Sentier Littoral, about 10kms. There is a great path next to the beach, mostly unpaved/trail, with great views out to sea. Weather at 0900 about 22degs C.- sunshine.Definitely a top jog.

First time for me here-once we were docked, I went for a nice 14km jog eastwards along the beachfront- beautiful sunshine- about 20 degs C at 0930. Being saturday a lot of folk already out and about. Nice marked jogging/cycle track extends from harbour eastwards at least 5kms if not more.
